No flowers, no roses.
No statues, no poses
My form will not glare at you
from junctions or halls,
Nor will my posters
be adorning the walls.
How will I be remembered,
you may like to ask?
Memory is short,
and life is so fast.
I may not lead the troops
or cross first the mark,
But in the fire which galvanized men,
I would like to be that spark,
from where it all began!
A sakhav (comrade) passed away last week and all our streets and walls in MVLK are splattered with his photos and black flags greet travelers at every junction here....and that is what sparked these few lines.....
