Mynah on the track

Your legs were tied
You were not free
You were sitting on the tracks

and not on a tree

I feared for you
A train was coming by
Unfazed you still
looked into my eye

Up you went
Into the sky
Oops...i had forgotten
Your wings weren't tied!


Saw a mynah sitting on the tracks at a railway station, probably a runaway as the legs were tied.....felt both happy n sad, happy that he was free, sad that still the legs were tied.
