I tried to fly,
Could only let out a sigh,
Many others flew by
Oh.........if only I could fly.
I asked the sky
Do tell me why..
That others fly and not I.
Thus spake the sky
Listen my boy
If you too had flown by
Who would have asked
for this poor old sky...
It does not matter if you don't fly
Be sure your presence on earth
is well accounted by
And don't feel disheartened...
For lions don't fly.............

I am amazed, at how imagination and desires can be expressed through simple words that rhyme and leads one through a chase for the underlying meaning in it all. The poem, as it is called, that you have so humbly penned with words that I understand and I clearly relate to, has moved my mind from ruthless slumber in the darkness to the bright side of this universe where you are lion. Great work, just know that you have raised your bar and you will have to keep up coming with great poems henceforth. ;)
